The Saskatoon Blades (36-9-2-3) welcome the Lethbridge Hurricanes (24-20-3-0) to SaskTel Centre for the sixth game of a seven-game home-stand.
Saskatoon’s home record is 21-1-1-0, a major reason why they’re ranked first in the latest CHL Top 10 rankings. The Blades extended their win streak at home to ten games after a 3-1 victory against the Brandon Wheat Kings on Sunday.
Saskatoon leads the season-series 1-0 after beating the Hurricanes 3-1 on Dec. 31st at the Enmax Centre.
Who to Watch
Captain Trevor Wong is fifth in WHL scoring with 13 goals and 80 points in 50 games. The Vancouver, BC product assisted on all three goals in Sunday’s victory over the Wheat Kings, keeping him in the lead for assists across the WHL with 66. Wong has 239 career points (70G, 169A) in 247 games, and comes into tonight’s game on a four-game point streak (1G, 7A).
Reigning WHL Player of the Week Egor Sidorov put on a show in Sunday’s win against Brandon. The 6-foot sniper finished potted a pair of goals, including the game-winner. Sidorov’s performance set a new career-high in goals with 41, good for most on the team. Sidorov is on a five-game point streak with six tucks and 11 points in that stretch. In 48 games, the Belarusian machine has 68 points, second on the team behind only Wong.

Nashville Predators prospect Tanner Molendyk is two points shy of 100 (18G, 80A) in his WHL career. The 19-year-old blueliner is on a six-game point streak with one goal and eight assists during that time. Molendyk leads all Saskatoon defencemen with 41 points (6G, 35A) in 33 games this season.
