Armstrong headed south for Predators development camp
Nashville, TN – Western Hockey League (WHL) graduate and former Saskatoon Blades forward Easton Armstrong has been invited to Nashville Predators’ development camp.
The 21-year-old winger enjoyed career highs in goals (34), assists (22), and points (56) through 62 games during his final WHL season. Armstrong scored 47 (28G, 19A) of those points in 58 games with the Blades after being acquired by the Bridge City on Oct. 10th, 2023 from the Wenatchee Wild. The 6-foot-3 forward added six goals and eight assists in 11 playoff games during Saskatoon’s run to their second straight Eastern Conference Final.
A 210-game WHL veteran, Armstrong finished his major junior career with 60 goals, 39 assists, 99 points, and 207 penalty minutes under his belt.
The Predators’ development camp runs between Tuesday, July 1st and Saturday, July 5th and culminates with their Future Stars Game at Ford Ice Center Bellevue on Sunday, July 6.
Blades defenceman and alternate captain Tanner Molendyk will also be in attendance, having been drafted by the Predators in the first round (24th overall) in 2023 and signed to an entry-level contract.
