In a thrilling overtime battle, Saginaw Spirit edged out the Kitchener Rangers 4-3. Calgary Flames prospect Zayne Parekh set up Michael Misa for the game-winning goal, allowing Misa to regain sole possession of the league lead with 35 goals. Jacob Cloutier’s two second-period goals helped keep the Spirit in it, while Andrew Oke made 24 saves. Despite a late equalizer from Cameron Reid, Jackson Parsons stopped 20 of 24 shots in the Rangers’ loss.
