1ST STAR: DAVID LEVIN (SUDBURY WOLVES):
David Levin played the hero in his second game back from injury. The former first overall OHL Priority Selection choice scored twice, netting the overtime winner 6:38 into the extra frame to push the Sudbury Wolves past visiting Mississauga 3-2. The Wolves take a 2-0 series lead as Levin followed up his own rebound with assists from Adam Ruzicka and Peter Stratis. The 19-year-old Levin put up 42 points (18-24–42) over 43 games this season. He returned to the lineup on Friday after being sidelined since Jan. 20th. The North York, Ont. native recently completed his fourth season with the Wolves and has 154 points (59-95–154) over 202 career regular season games.

2ND STAR: DAMIEN GIROUX (SAGINAW SPIRIT)
Minnesota Wild prospect Damien Giroux scored twice and added an assist as the Saginaw Spirit downed visiting Sarnia 5-1 to take a 2-0 series lead. The Spirit captain opened the scoring 5:42 into the first period before providing a primary assist on an Owen Tippett goal late in the second period. Giroux wrapped up Saginaw’s scoring with an assist from defenceman Justin Murray with 5:43 remaining. The 5-foot-10, 185Ib spark plug recorded 30 goals and 51 assists over 67 games this past season. He was Minnesota’s fifth round pick in 2018.

3RD STAR: CHRISTIAN PROPP (NORTH BAY BATTALION):
Veteran netminder Christian Propp followed up a 50-save performance in Game 1 with an additional 43 on Saturday, backstopping the North Bay Battalion to a 5-2 road win in Niagara. The Troops even the series at one win apiece as Propp was stellar yet again, helping the Battalion come away unscathed after being outshot 45-27. The 19-year-old from Milton, Ont. recently completed his third full OHL season, a career he’s split between North Bay and Barrie. He played to a 24-24-2-0 record this past season with a 3.98 goals-against average and .893 save percentage.
