IceDogs’ Perlini returns to action

St. Catharines, ON – Niagara IceDogs forward Brendan Perlini has been cleared to play Thursday night when they host the Guelph Storm at the Meridian Centre.
Perlini was selected 12th overall by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft this past summer. He injured his hand while at their training camp prior to the start of the 2014-15 season.
In 58 games with the IceDogs last season, Perlini had 34 goals and 37 assists. He also represented Canada at the World Junior Under-18 tournament where he served as an assistant captain and tallied four points in seven games.
He was selected 16th overall in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection by the Barrie Colts, before being traded to Niagara in the 2012-13 season.
