- Cole Davis recorded his first career OHL hat trick, his first goal of the game came 15:59 into the second period and gave the Spits a 3-2 lead. Davis scored two straight to close out the game, including an empty netter to secure the hat trick
- Los Angeles Kings prospect Liam Greentree had a three point afternoon as he scored twice to hit the 24 goal mark on the year and added an assist
- The Greyhounds mounted a late comeback effort in the third as they would cut the score to 7-6 after scoring three unanswered goals in just under seven minutes

- Edmonton Oilers prospect Dalyn Wakely had a two goal afternoon in his return to North Bay
- North Bay’s Briir Long scored his first career OHL goal which was the lone goal for the Troops on the afternoon
- Zach Wigle scored an empty netter for his sixth goal of the year as an insurance marker in the Colts win
- Barrie Colts goaltender Ben Hrebik stood tall in his second straight start as he made 29 saves in the win
- Mike McIvor backstopped his North Bay Battalion team with 29 saves to give them a fighting chance

Ottawa 67’s 5 at Peterborough Petes 4
- Will Gerrior had a three point performance as he recorded an assist and scored two unanswered goals in the third period including the game winner with 11 seconds left in the game
- The 67’s and Petes combined for six goals in the first period including two from Peterborough’s Caden Taylor
- Will Gerrior extended his goal streak to seven games as he has now scored in 8 of the 11 games the 67’s have played in December
- Pittsburgh Penguins prospect Cooper Foster had a two point performance, including the opening goal of the game for the 67’s
- Collin MacKenzie had a 28 save performance in the victory for Ottawa, his Peterborough counterpart Zach Bowen made 33 saves in the loss

Kitchener Rangers 3 at Sudbury Wolves 2 (OT)
- Kitchener Rangers forward Adrian Misaljevic secured the win in overtime with his 18th goal of the season
- Seattle Kraken prospect Nathan Villeneuve tied the game in the third period, Winnipeg Jets prospect Kieron Walton recorded an assist on the play to extend his point streak to 14 games
- Haeden Ellis opened the scoring for the Rangers as he scored his second career OHL goal in the first period
- Jacob Xu made his OHL debut for the Kitchener Rangers
- This game featured a goalie duel between Kitchener’s Jackson Parsons who made 32 saves in the win, and Sudbury’s Nate Krawchuk who made 24 saves

- Connor Clattenburg busted Aleksei Medvedev’s shutout with 1:47 left in the game with his 11th goal of the season
- Knights goaltender Aleksei Medvedev made 37 saves in the victory
Niagara IceDogs 3 at Saginaw Spirit 6
- Saginaw Spirit rookie Carson Harmer recorded his first career OHL hat trick against the Niagara IceDogs, his first goal of the game came 7:10 into the second period and he scored two straight goals in the third period including an empty netter as he reached the 14 goal mark on the season
- Calem Mangone also had a strong offensive showing as he had a two goal performance including the game winning goal at 5:18 into the third period
- After going down 2-0, the IceDogs fought back to a tie with two quick goals from Ryan Roobroeck and Mike Levin
- Calgary Flames prospect Zayne Parekh proved a critical piece of the offence for Saginaw as he had a three assist night
- Ethan Hay opened the scoring for the Saginaw Spirit with his eighth goal of the season
- Andrei Loshko scored his 21st goal of the season late in the second period to tie the game at 3-3 heading into the final frame
