Storm say farewell to long-time Equipment Manager Doug Robertson

The Guelph Storm are saying farewell to Head Equipment Manager Doug Robertson who has accepted a new position with the Guelph Wellington Catholic School Board. Robertson is moving on after more than 25 years with the organization, having originally joined the Storm as a Trainer’s Assistant back in 1992.

Robertson was the long-time right hand man to former lead Equipment Manager Russ Hammond prior to his retirement at the end of the 2018-19 season. He was part of three OHL championship teams as the club’s Assistant Equipment Manager, hoisting the J. Ross Robertson Cup in 2004, 2014 and 2019.

The Storm, along with the Ontario Hockey League, would like to thank Doug for his many years of outstanding work, dedication and commitment and wish him all the best in his new role.
