– Third period goals 31 seconds apart from Pasquale Zito and Wyatt Johnston gave the Spits all they’d need in a 2-1 win.
– Zito launched the Teddy Bear Toss 2:25 into the third period in Windsor.
– Xavier Medina earned first star honours with a 31-save performance, improving to 3-0 since returning from injury.
– Kitchener’s Pavel Cajan made 32 saves of his own in the loss.
– The Spitfires have won four straight, climbing to within one point of first place Sault Ste. Marie in the West Division with a 12-8-2-2 record.
– Kitchener falls back to .500 with a 12-12-0-0 record.

BARRIE 3, NORTH BAY 2 – SO
– The two clubs were tied 2-2 after one period, and the score would remain that way through the end of regulation.
– Edmonton Oilers prospect Matvey Petrov scored twice for the Battalion.
– Barrie’s Mack Guzda earned first star honours, making 32 saves before going 4-for-4 in the shootout.
– Jacob Frasca scored the shootout winner for the Colts, securing their fourth straight win as they improve to 12-7-2-0.
– North Bay’s three-game winning streak is snapped, they remain undefeated in regulation in the last six games and hold down first in the Central Division with a 16-7-1-2 record.
– Battalion veteran Brandon Coe saw his 14-game point streak snapped, being held off the scoresheet for the first time since Oct. 31st.
– With his 469th career OHL coaching win, Colts head coach and GM Marty Williamson surpasses Mike Vellucci to climb to 10th on the OHL’s all-time list.

– Owen Bennett made 27 saves for his second shutout of the season, backstopping the Storm to their 1,000th win in club history.
– Vegas Golden Knights prospect Daniil Chayka had a goal and an assist for Guelph.
– The Storm outshot the Knights 39-27 as London’s Mathias Onuska made 35 saves in his first start of the season.
– The win brings the Storm to within a point of the first place Knights in the Midwest Division as they improve to 16-8-1-1.
– London falls to 17-7-1-0, suffering a second straight loss.
– Mathieu Paris made his OHL debut for London, wearing #10.

– Down 3-2 early in the third, goals from William Portokalis and Cedrick Guindon vaulted the Attack to victory, giving them back-to-back third period comebacks in Flint.
– Riley Piercey extended his goal-scoring streak to six games and now has points in 10 straight for Flint.
– Zacharie Giroux earned first star honours with a goal and two assists for the Firebirds.
– Nick Chenard made 26 saves for the win while Flint’s Ian Michelone made his sixth consecutive start, stopping 23.
– Owen Sound improves to 12-10-1-2 for third in the Midwest Division.
– Flint sits at 12-10-0-1 for third in the West Division.

– The Bulldogs rebounded from a Friday night loss in Kingston as Avery Hayes (2-1–3) and Logan Morrison (1-2–3) finished with three points each.
– The Bulldogs scored five goals in the second period, finishing with eight on a total of 28 shots.
– George Diaco recorded a goal and an assist to extend his point streak to 15 games.
– Lucas Moore scored his first career OHL goal for the Bulldogs.
– Brad Gardiner scored his first career OHL goal for the 67’s.
– Matteo Drobac made 36 saves for the win as Hamilton was outshot 39-28.
– Hamilton improves to 15-7-2-2, one point back of first place Kingston in the East Division.

– Spirit rookie Ian Phillips scored the game winner midway through the third period.
– 2022 NHL Draft blueline prospect Pavel Mintyukov had a season-high three points (1-2–3) for Saginaw.
– Justin O’Donnell scored his first goal as a member of the Spirit.
– New York Islanders prospect Tristan Lennox stopped 27 of 30 for the win.
– Saginaw improves to 11-11-1-0, snapping a four-game slide.
– Erie suffers a fourth straight loss, falling to 6-16-1-1 at the bottom of the Western Conference.

– Aidan Spooner stopped 31 of 33 to record the win for Kingston opposite Niagara’s Josh Rosenzweig who also made 31 saves.
– The Frontenacs improve to 16-5-3-0, holding down first place in the East Division.
– Niagara has lost three in a row, falling to 6-16-0-1.
