Friday Highlights: Strome’s five points push Otters to third straight West Final
The Erie Otters are off to the Western Conference Finals for the third straight year as Arizona Coyotes prospect Dylan Strome got in on all five goals, registering three goals and two assists in a 5-2 Game 5 victory over the visiting Soo Greyhounds.
Deadlocked at two inside the final minute of the second period, Taylor Raddysh’s fourth of the postseason stood as the difference maker as Strome tacked on two in the third for a 5-2 decision.
Erie outshot Sault Ste. Marie 30-14 in the game as Taylor Raddysh and Alex DeBrincat each finished with a goal and an assist.
Jack Kopacka and Mac Hollowell had goals for the Greyhounds.
The Otters take the second round series in five games, setting up a date with the London Knights in the Western Conference Finals.
