Colts’ Hillebrandt to attend USA Hockey National Goaltending Camp
USA Hockey has announced that Barrie Colts netminder Sam Hillebrandt has been selected to participate in the 2024 National Goaltending Camp. The camp will be held in Plymouth, MI on May 15th – 18th.
Hillebrandt has attended this camp previously and was a member of the World Junior team that won the gold medal at the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship in Sweden. Hillebrandt completed his first full year wearing the Colts uniform, where he played in 36 games, recording an .899 save percentage and a 3.67 goals-against average, along with one shutout.
Hillebrandt raised his game in the post-season, where he achieved one shutout, a .938 save percentage, and a 2.48 goals-against average as Barrie lost to eventual Eastern Conference champion Oshawa in six games.
