Detroit Red Wings prospect Givani Smith (13) had a goal and the shootout winner as the Kitchener Rangers earned their fourth straight win, defeating the London Knights 3-2 on the road. Kitchener overcame a 2-0 deficit as Connor Bunnaman (19) also tallied while goaltender Luke Richardson made 29 saves and stopped all five shooters he faced in the shootout. The Knights outshot the Rangers 31-25 as Alex Formenton (12) and Alex Turko (1) both had goals. London’s three-game winning streak comes to an end but the Knights still managed to earn a point to stay within 10 points of the first place Rangers in the Midwest Division. Kitchener has won four straight road contests.
