Sunday Highlights: Misa and Parekh connect in OT at the Aud
Saginaw Spirit 4 at Kitchener Rangers 3 OT
- Calgary Flames Prospect Zayne Parekh connected with top NHL Draft prospect Michael Misa in overtime to win it for the Spirit. With this goal, Michael Misa reclaimed sole possession of the league lead in goals, now sitting at 35 on the season.
- This was a tight battle until the very end, with both teams trading off on goals, and eventually Cameron Reid scoring for the Rangers late to send it to overtime.
- Jacob Cloutier played a big role in the win, tucking away two goals in the second frame to tie the game back up.
- Andrew Oke made 24/27 saves for the Spirit, while Jackson Parsons saved 20/24 in the loss.

Peterborough Petes 5 at Niagara IceDogs 2
- The Petes came out flying in this one, scoring five unanswered to take charge.
- Jonathan Melee scored two in a row for the Petes at the end of the second period.
- Andrei Loshko netted two third period goals to get the IceDogs back in it—his 6th and 7th goals in his past three games.
- Easton Rye made 30 saves on 32 shots for the Petes.

Kingston Frontenacs 6 at Sudbury Wolves 10
- This one was a scoring masterclass from the Wolves, starting with three in the first period to gain the advantage.
- The second period was a thriller, with seven goals being scored, including a couple from Jacob Battaglia and Tuomas Uronen for the Fronts, while Nathan Villeneuve and Kieron Walton sniped for the Wolves.
- The Fronts pushed back in the third period, scoring two goals to try and comeback, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Wolves’ lead.
- Quentin Musty had a big night, scoring two goals and three assists in his return to the Wolves; it was Musty’s first game since Nov. 24th.
- A couple other Wolves also celebrated big nights, with Nathan Villeneuve scoring 2 goals + 2 assists, and Kieron Walton with 1 goal + 2 assists.
- Joey Willis potted his first in a Fronts uniform—his 18th of the season so far.

Ottawa 67’s 2 at Oshawa Generals 6
- The Gens came out on a mission, potting three goals early to gain a first period advantage. Their third of the night, scored by Lauri Sinivuori stood as the game-winner.
- Will Gerrior and Jack Dever both tucked a goal each for the 67’s.
- Colby Barlow (2G, 1A), and Calum Ritchie (1G, 2A) both celebrate three point nights for the Gens.
- Jacob Oster made 19/21 saves in the win, while Jaeden Nelson made 37/43 at the other end of the ice.
- Oshawa has won three straight, improving to 25-13-2-1 atop the East Division.
