This week’s show features 2020 NHL Draft prospect Will Cuylle of the Windsor Spitfires who recently competed in the Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game. Cuylle and the Spitfires are in a fierce fight atop the Western Conference, battling it out with division rivals Saginaw and Flint for top spot. The 6-foot-3 winger was originally the third overall pick of the 2018 OHL Priority Selection.
Doyle and Cuylle discuss his experience in Hamilton at the Kubota CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, mentioning how the on and off-ice testing component has prepared him for what he can expect at the NHL Combine in June. Cuylle expands on what has made the CHL’s ninth-ranked Spitfires so successful this season, highlighting their size, speed and commitment to team defence. The hard-hitting forward concludes by sharing his love of baseball, a sport he was heavily involved with growing up in Toronto.
