62 OHL Players Included on NHL Central Scouting Players to Watch List for October
Toronto, Ont. – The Ontario Hockey League is proud to announce that 62 OHL players have been included on NHL Central Scouting’s October ‘Players to Watch’ List for the 2024 NHL Draft scheduled to take place next summer.
The 62 OHL players are part of an overall total of 161 players from across the Canadian Hockey League included on the list.
Liam Greentree of the Windsor Spitfires, Henry Mews of the Ottawa 67’s, Zayne Parekh of the Saginaw Spirit, and Beckett Sennecke of the Oshawa Generals join defenceman Sam Dickinson of the London Knights in receiving ‘A’ ratings, indicating a potential first round selection.
An additional 14 players were assigned ‘B’ ratings indicating a potential second or third round selection, and 19 received ‘C’ designations indicating a potential fourth or fifth round candidate, while 24 received ‘W’ ratings indicating potential sixth or seventh round picks.
All 20 OHL member teams are represented on the list led by the Mississauga Steelheads with seven players included, followed by the North Bay Battalion with five, along with the Ottawa 67’s, Soo Greyhounds, Sudbury Wolves, Guelph Storm, Brantford Bulldogs, Kingston Frontenacs and Windsor Spitfires, each trailing with four players included.
The list includes 33 OHL forwards, 22 defencemen and seven goaltenders.

• C Rating – Indicates a fourth/fifth round candidate
