Sting Open Season This Weekend

The Sarnia Sting are getting ready to take on division rival, the Plymouth Whalers, this coming Friday night at the SSEC. The 7:30 game-start will be delayed slightly as the Sting unveil their first-ever West Division Championship Banner. In addition, Sarnia-Lambton’s “Idol” Joshua Seller, back from his trip to Toronto last week, will be on hand to sing both anthems and get the fans geared up for the game.

Saturday night’s entertainment will start early (6pm) with the Sting Icebreaker Party presented by Labatt. Adults are invited to enter the beer garden, try out a “Closest-to-the-Pin” contest in the golf simulator and win great prizes. Kids will get a chance to slide the big inflatable slide, bounce in the inflated castle or get their face painted for the game. At 7:30pm the Sting take to the ice against Brampton in the Battalion’s only appearance in Sarnia this season.
