Progressive Auto Sales Arena Renovation Update
Exciting changes are on the horizon at Progressive Auto Sales Arena as the Sarnia Sting prepare to welcome fans for the 2026-27 season.
Over the coming weeks, fans can expect significant renovations and upgrades throughout the arena, with work taking place in several key areas, including the restaurant, merchandise store, elevator and concession stands. These projects are part of an exciting refresh designed to enhance the fan experience, with plenty more to look forward to as the season approaches.
With construction underway, fans may notice some disruption in these areas during Training Camp and throughout the preseason. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work behind the scenes to bring these exciting improvements to life. A full and detailed release with information on all renovation projects will be made available the week of September 7.
For fans looking to gear up for the new season, a pop-up merchandise store will be open on the concourse this Friday, Aug. 28, for the Black and White Game. The temporary location will provide fans with all their Sting gear needs while renovations take place at the Gate 2 store. The Sting will welcome fans back into the newly refreshed merchandise store for the team’s first home game on Friday, Oct. 2, against the Soo Greyhounds.
Meanwhile, something new is cooking at the arena. The restaurant will remain closed throughout the preseason as renovations take place, with more delicious details set to be revealed early next week. Stay tuned; an exciting new experience is on the way.
