Sarnia Sting Sign Brody Brown To Standard Player Agreement
The Sarnia Sting are proud to announce the signing of draft pick Brody Brown to a Standard Player Agreement.
The Sting selected Brown in the third round of the2026 OHL Priority Selection, adding the young forward to the organization’s latest draft class.
Originally from Wheatley, Ontario, Brown joins the Sting after a strong season with Vaughan Kings, where he continued to establish himself as a competitive and skilled player. In the 2025-26 season, the right-shooting forward scored seven goals and 28 assists in 33 games played. The six-foot-three forward joins Captain Alessandro Di Iorio, Cole Emerton and Sarnia fourth overall pick Adrian Sgro, as former Vaughan King players.
Brown played in the Sting’s second preseason game of the year against the Peterborough Petes. He will play the upcoming season with the Leamington Flyers of the OJHL.
“To get Brody signed is an opportunity to continue to work with him and his development alongside the Leamington Flyers for the season. He had a very strong camp. He showed us his hockey sense and his playmaking ability. This signing strengthens our 2010-born draft group, and puts us in a great position”
Brown becomes the latest member of Sarnia’s 2026 OHL Priority Selection class to sign with the organization and will look to continue his development as he begins his journey with the Sting.
The Sarnia Sting would like to congratulate Brody and his family on this accomplishment and welcome them to Sting Nation.
