The Kitchener Rangers go head to head with the Petes tonight in Peterborough at 7:00pm
This is the first match-up against the Petes this season; next game will be in Kitchener on Friday, January 14th, 2011 at 7:30pm.
Kitchener currently owns a record of 6-3-0-0 while Peterborough sits at 2-6-0-0. Overall Kitchener is ranked 4th in the Western Division with Peterborough ranking 8th in the Eastern Division.
Top three leading scorers for Kitchener are Ryan Murphy (7-11-18), Tobias Reider (6-8-14), and Gabriel Landeskog (6-6-12). Matt Puempel (7-5-12), Ryan Spooner (4-5-9), and Lino Martschini (2-3-5) top scoring for the Petes.
OHL’s leading defenceman Murphy looks to be unstoppable. He currently ranks number one overall for defencemen in goals, assists and power play goals.
Although Kitchener has lost their last two games and Peterborough has home ice advantage, the Rangers are ready to come back strong with a win tonight.
