The native of Corunna, Ontario, Rangers alumnus, and graduate of Western University has spent 12 years working at the OHL – most recently as the Vice President of Development. Joe was responsible for the growth and expansion of the league’s sponsorship operations while working closely with all clubs to help optimize sponsorship and marketing, fan growth and engagement.
He previously spent six years as the Senior Director of Hockey Development & Special Events with the OHL; planning and executing unique special events that helped reaffirm the league’s position as the number one development league for the NHL, Canada’s national teams and USPORTS.
As the previous Director of Player Recruitment & Education Services for the OHL, Joe led the establishment of its Centrally Administered Scholarship Program. Joe has played a significant role in developing the national player recruitment strategy for the Canadian Hockey League.
Between 2011 and 2013 he served as a NHLPA Certified Agent with Newport Sports Management.
Joe has been recognized twice by Hockey News as Top 100 People of Power and Influence.
