Rangers complete trade with Brantford
Kitchener, ON – The Kitchener Rangers announced today that the club has completed a trade with the Brantford Bulldogs.
In the trade, Kitchener acquires Owen Sound’s third-round pick in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection and Brantford’s fourth-round pick in the 2027 OHL Priority Selection. In return, the Rangers trade defenseman Tomas Hamara to the Bulldogs.
“We thank Tomas for his contributions to the Rangers and wish him luck in Brantford,” said Kitchener Rangers General Manager Mike McKenzie.
This season, the Prague, Czech Republic native has recorded three assists and a plus-13 rating in 18 games. The Rangers’ first-round pick in the 2022 CHL Import Draft, Hamara has totaled 20 points (2G, 18A) in 74 career games with the Rangers.
Riding a four-game win streak the Rangers continue their home stand on Sunday, November 12th against the Soo followed by a matchup with the Windsor Spitfires on Friday, November 17th.
