Over the Years:
Saturday’s clash is the second and final meeting between Kitchener and Ottawa this season. Last year, the teams met twice, with the Rangers winning both games and posting a 2-0-0-0 record. The Kitchener Rangers earned another statement win on last night, defeating the Kingston Frontenacs 4-2. The victory keeps their road trip moving in the right direction as they hold firm in the Western Conference’s top spot with 77 points.
Christian Humphreys and Jack Pridham once again led the way. Scoring the opening two goals. Pridham added two assists, while Humphreys picked up one. Cameron Arquette and Gabriel Chiarot both found the back of the net in a dominant second period. Kingston responded with two goals, but it wasn’t enough to catch the Rangers.

Matthew Andonovski (Ottawa Senators) was selected in 2023.
SCOUTING THE OTTAWA 67’S (38-11-1-2)
The Ottawa 67’s lead the Eastern Conference with 79 points but have the Brantford Bulldogs just one point behind them with a game in hand, adding even more weight to tonight’s matchup as they take on the top-ranked Rangers from the Western Conference.
February 12th was the day when the Peterborough Petes halted Ottawa’s three-game winning streak with a 7-3 victory. Newly acquired forward Nicholas Sima, acquired from the Saginaw Spirit, opened the scoring in Thursday’s contest and now sits at 33 points on the season (15G, 18A).
