TEAM AWARDS: Herchenrader Family Award (2021-22)

The Herchenrader Family Trophy is awarded to the player showing the best defensive ability. The six-foot five defenceman, Roman Schmidt, dressed for all 68 regular season homes games helping the Rangers by blocking shots and breaking up plays by the opposing team. This Tampa Bay Lightning prospect collected 11 goals and 22 assists while also contributing on special teams leading the defensive core with five power play goals.
