KNIGHT AND TINORDI SELECTED FOR TEAM USA CAMP

LONDON, ONTARIO: London Knights Right Winger Jared Knight and Defenceman Jarred Tinordi were among the 40 skaters invited today by USA Hockey to take part in its National Junior Evaluation Camp this August in Lake Placid, New York.

The players will be auditioning for a spot on the U.S. National Junior Team that will take part in the 2012 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship, Dec. 26, 2011-Jan. 5, 2012, in Calgary and Edmonton, Alta.

Knight, 19 is entering his 4th season in the OHL with the London Knights.  He was selected in the 3rd Round of the 2008 Ontario Hockey League Draft.  Knight was selected by the Boston Bruins in the 2nd Round of the 2010 NHL Draft in Los Angeles, California.   He is a native of Battle Creek, Michigan.  

Tinordi, 19 is entering his 2nd season in the OHL with the London Knights.  He was selected in the 4th Round of the 2008 Ontario Hockey League Draft.   Tinordi was the Montreal Canadiens 1st Round Selection at the 2010 NHL Draft in Los Angeles, California.   He is a native of Millersville, Maryland.  Prior to joining the London Knights in 2010-2011 he served as Captain of the US Under 18 National Team in 2009-2010.
