Knights meet with Spitfires for the final time
LONDON, ON – The London Knights extended their win streak to five after a massive 7-4 road win over the Windsor Spitfires on Sunday to stay in the race for the top spot in the Western Conference. Tonight, the green and gold will host the Spitfires in their final meeting of the year.
Scouting the Knights (48-14-1-3)
On Sunday, Ruslan Gazizov entered Windsor fresh off a four-goal performance against the Greyhounds. In the matchup with the Spitfires, he recorded another three points on two goals and an assist. The Russian winger leads the Knights with 36 goals and was named OHL Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Denver Barkey is just two points shy of 100 amidst his seven-game, 12-point streak. The last Knight to reach the century mark was current Nashville Predator Luke Evangelista in 2021-22.
With two helpers in Windsor, Easton Cowan extended his point streak to 34 games – setting a new franchise record.
