Our players, typically between 16 and 20 years old, come from across Ontario, the United States, and Europe to pursue hockey and education at a high level. With demanding schedules that include games, practices, training, and school, players rely on billet families for stability, guidance, and day-to-day support.
To ensure a positive experience for both players and families, all potential billets complete a screening process and receive a Billet Manual outlining team expectations, policies, and responsibilities. Players are also expected to follow team rules, respect their billet homes, and serve as positive role models within the community.
BILLET PROGRAM INFORMATION
- Players typically stay from late August through the end of the season (March–May).
- Players receive a one-week break at Christmas to return home.
- Family visits during the season are welcome at the billet family’s discretion.
- Transportation to school and team activities is coordinated by players and hockey operations staff.
