IceDogs Trade Tang

NIAGARA, ONT – Forward Michael Tang has been traded from the Niagara IceDogs to the Barrie Colts in exchange for a 2028 Oshawa fifth-round pick.
Tang was drafted by the IceDogs in the fourth round of the 2025 OHL Priority Selection Draft, 78th overall. He signed with the IceDogs in July of 2026 and played five preseason games with the team.
Prior to his time with the IceDogs, he played the 2025-26 season with the Madison Capitals of the USHL where he recorded 27 points (nine goals, 19 assists) in 57 games. He also represented the United States at the U17 World Junior Championships. Tang is committed to Harvard University following his time in the OHL.
