IceDogs Make Move With Colts
NIAGARA, ON – The Niagara IceDogs have acquired the playing rights to overage goaltender Anson Thornton in exchange for a conditional draft pick.

Anson Thornton, a 2003 born goaltender has spent this season in the AHL with the Tucson Roadrunners appearing in four games. His time in the OHL has been spent with the Sarnia Sting and Barrie Colts.
The IceDogs are back in action this week with a back-to-back games at home. Goodwill Niagara will be holding a Donation Drive here at the Meridian Centre on Thursday January 11th. The Goodwill Niagara truck and staff will be on hand from 5:30 – 7:30pm. Your generous donations help create jobs, training programs and affordable senior housing in Niagara.
