IceDogs Deal Burns To Otters
NIAGARA, ON – The Niagara IceDogs have traded goaltender Charlie Burns to the Erie Otters in exchange for a draft pick.

Charlie Burns, a 2006 born goalie, was originally drafted in the 9th round, 167th overall in the 2022 Priority Selection by the IceDogs. He appeared in four games for the IceDogs across the past two seasons, while spending majority of his time in the GOJHL with the Fort Erie Meteors and the NOJHL with the Blind River Beavers.
The IceDogs are back in action this week with a back-to-back games at home. Goodwill Niagara will be holding a Donation Drive here at the Meridian Centre on Thursday January 11th. The Goodwill Niagara truck and staff will be on hand from 5:30 – 7:30pm. Your generous donations help create jobs, training programs and affordable senior housing in Niagara.
