IceDogs Fall to Steelheads

Tonight, your Niagara IceDogs were back at home, facing off against the Mississauga Steelheads.

Mississauga was able to get one early in the first, but Niagara came back with Declan Waddick tallying his second OHL career goal. However, Mississauga squeezed in another late in the period.

After 20 minutes, the score sat at 2-1 Steelheads.

Mississauga tallied another two in the second period, one early on and one on their power play.

After 40 minutes, the score was 4-1.

Juan Copeland started off the third strong, getting his third goal of the season. Mississauga fought back, putting in another two goals.

Ultimately, the Steelheads took the win 6-2.

The IceDogs are back at home on Friday, taking on the Ottawa 67’s.
