Nicholas Caamano scored his 14th goal of the season unassisted while skating from the left circle into the slot and backhanding the puck between the legs of Guelph’s Michael Giugovaz to bring the game within one goal.
Austin Hall scored his first of the season with 5:58 remaining in the first period on a blast from the top of the right circle, increasing the Storm’s lead to two goals. Garrett McFadden finished off the scoring on an empty Flint net from the neutral zone with 1:10 left in the contest.
