Colts Acquire Bode Stewart from Saginaw!
The Barrie Colts and Saginaw Spirit have completed a trade!
The Colts have acquired 2006-born forward, Bode Stewart, from the Saginaw Spirit in exchange for two OHL Priority Selection Selections!

“Bode is a player we have liked since his U16 year and have kept an eye on since. He plays the game at a high-pace and brings a strong goal-scoring ability to our lineup. We are looking forward to working with Bode and his family here in Barrie.” Commented Head Coach & GM, Marty Williamson.
Stewart was drafted by the Spirit in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection with the 24th overall selection from the Mississauga Senators U16 program. During his first year in the OHL, he suited up in 41 regular season games, where he registered two goals and two assists. Bode played alongside Colts forward, Cole Beaudoin, on Team Black at the World U17 Championship for Team Canada this past season.
