Mooseheads hire Greenwood

Halifax Mooseheads General Manager Cam Russell announced the newest addition to the coaching staff for the Hockey Club on Monday. The Mooseheads have hired Jon Greenwood as an Assistant Coach, joining Dominique Ducharme and Jim Midgley behind the bench.

“I’m extremely happy to have Jon join our team. His passion, work ethic and knowledge of the game will make him a welcome addition to an already great coaching staff,” Russell said.

Greenwood spent the two last seasons as the Head Coach of the Cole Harbour WolfPack in Midget AAA where he was named Coach of the Year for 2013-2014 in Nova Scotia. He has also served as the Director of Hockey Development at the Maritime Hockey Academy.
