The Moncton Wildcats had their 7 game win streak come to end Friday night at the hands of the Victoriaville Tigres 7-3.
The Tigres lead throughout, up 3-1 after the 1st and 4-1 entering the third on the way to their 12th win of the season.
Wildcats received goals from newly acquired Connor Garland, Ivan Barbashev and Jonathan Narbonne.
With the goal Narbonne extends his point streak to 9 consecutive games. The loss also snaps the Cats 4 game winning streak on the road.
Phillip Danault lead the Tigres attack with a goal and 3 assists.
Brandon Whitney was the winner for Victo, while Alex Dubeau suffered the loss. Moncton outshot Victoriaville 37-32.
Wildcats will now head back home for 4 straight, at the Coliseum, beginning Tuesday vs Acadie-Bathurst.
