Sea Dogs hire Max Essiambre as Goaltending & Video Coach
SAINT JOHN – The Saint John Sea Dogs announced on Friday that the team has hired Max Essiambre as their new Goaltending & Video Coach, following the departure of Brian Fleming to pursue other career opportunities.
“I am absolutely thrilled to join the Saint John Sea Dogs,” said Essiambre. “The opportunity to work with a talented group of players and contribute to the team’s success is a dream come true.”
A native of Montreal, Quebec, Essiambre comes to the Sea Dogs following time with the University of Ottawa as an Assistant & Video Coach. The 33-year-old also previously spent time with the Miramichi Rivermen in the NBPEIU18MHL and the Hawkesbury Hawks of the Canadian Junior A Hockey League.
“I’m excited to help enhance the team’s performance with my expertise and passion for the game, while being a mentor both on and off the ice,” Essiambre added.
