Tributes to 20 year old players
On June 4, 2016, the Gatineau Olympiques selected, in the 4th round of the draft, forward Métis Roelens.
At the time, who could have predicted that Métis would spend the next 4 years and over 200 QMJHL games with the same team that drafted him ♠️
During your time with us, the organization has had its ups and downs. Please know that your professionalism, your desire to learn and your contribution over the past 4 seasons has been remarkable.
On behalf of the entire organization, we wish you the best of luck in your future career. Once an Olympiques, always an Olympiques ????
Andrew Coxhead joined the Olympiques in the last trade period. From the moment he arrived, his calmness in the dressing room and his intensity on the ice made the Olympiques a better team.
Andrew leaves the QMJHL with 298 games played (season and playoffs) and with over 4000 face-offs attempted! He was the QMJHL’s most active player this season ♠️
Andrew Coxhead On behalf of the entire organization, we thank you for all you have done for the Olympiques and wish you the best of luck in your future career ????
Kyle Havlena joined the Olympiques early last season. He has certainly been an outstanding veteran for the young Olympiques ♠️
On behalf of the entire organization, we thank you for all you have done for the Olympiques and wish you the best of luck in your future career.
Our door will always be open for you ????
