Kielly out indefinitely
The Charlottetown Islanders will be without Kameron Kielly for the forseeable future.
The Isles forward is out indefinitely with an upper-body injury, it was announced today.
Kielly will be evaluated further by doctors this week to determine the severity of the injury and the team will provide a further update at that time.
He suffered the injury in the first period of Saturday’s game against the Acadie Bathurst Titan and did not return to the game. The Isles lost the game 3-2.
The Islanders are on the road this weekend to head to Cape Breton for back-to-back games against the Screaming Eagles on Friday and Saturday. Listen along with Fair Isle Ford Isles Radio or catch the action on the big screen at Ise’s Sports Bar at 8 p.m. on Friday and 7 p.m. on Saturday.
