IN-GAME HOST
The Charlottetown Islanders are looking for their next In-Game Host.
If you’re comfortable on a microphone, enjoy being in front of a crowd, and know how to bring energy to a room, we’d love to hear from you.
As our In-Game Host, you’ll play a key role in creating a great atmosphere at every Islanders home game. From fan contests and sponsor promotions to interacting with the crowd and keeping the energy high between whistles, you’ll help make every game a memorable experience.
What You’ll Do
- Host promotions and contests throughout Islanders home games.
- Interact with fans in the stands and on the concourse.
- Work with our game presentation team to keep the show moving.
- Introduce sponsors and in-game features.
- Help create a fun, exciting atmosphere from puck drop to the final buzzer.
We’re Looking for Someone Who
- Has a great personality and isn’t afraid of a microphone.
- Is confident speaking in front of large crowds.
- Can think on their feet and keep things moving.
- Is dependable and available for all Islanders home games.
- Has experience in public speaking, broadcasting, theatre, or live events (an asset but not required).

SLY THE FOX (MASCOT)
The Charlottetown Islanders are looking for the next person behind one of the most recognisable faces in PEI sports—Sly the Fox!
Sly is more than just a mascot. Sly’s the life of the party, the biggest Islanders fan in the building, and the reason kids (and plenty of adults) leave the rink with a smile.
If you’ve got lots of energy, don’t mind dancing like nobody’s watching (even though everyone is), and can tell a story without saying a word, this might be the job for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Bringing Sly to life at every Islanders home game.
- High-fiving fans, dancing on the concourse, and getting the crowd fired up.
- Taking photos and making memories with fans of all ages.
- Helping with on-ice promotions and game entertainment.
- Representing the Islanders at community events, schools, parades, festivals, and sponsor appearances throughout the year.
We’re Looking for Someone Who
- Has a big personality and lots of energy.
- Is comfortable performing in costume for extended periods.
- Enjoys interacting with people of all ages.
- Can improvise, be playful, and isn’t afraid to look a little silly.
- Is dependable and available for most Islanders home games and community appearances.
- Can work as part of a team while helping create an unforgettable fan experience.
No acting or mascot experience? That’s okay. If you’re energetic, creative, and love making people laugh, we want to meet you.
