Islanders sweep the weekend with win over the Tigres
The Victoriaville Tigres jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period but the Charlottetown Islanders clawed back on Saturday night in front a big crowd at the Eastlink Centre.
Alex Dostie scored twice and Pascal Aquin, Filip Chlapik and Kameron Kielly netted one a piece in the 5-3 win.
Chalk also had 2 assists, while PO Joseph picked up three assists.
Matthew Welsh was in goal and picked up the win.
It was a chippy game, with two fights happening and 68 penalty minutes in total.
The win came one night after the Islanders beat the Moncton Wildcats 8-3 in front of the same Charlottetown crowd.
The Islanders now head out on the road to Quebec, where they will play three games next weekend.
