An Island Captain for Your Island Team!
In recent news, the PEI Rocket announced that Islander Travis McIsaac would have the honour of being Captain for the 2010-2011 edition of the PEI Rocket.
Jonathan Bonneau (20), Matthew Hobbs (19) and newcomer Philippe Paradis (19) were named Assistant Captains for the 2010-2011 season.
“It is a really great honour to be named Captain of the Rocket” said McIsaac. “Coming back to PEI for my 20-year old season is very exciting and I can’t wait to get the season started”, he added.
Head Coach Eric Lavigne added that “Travis was a natural selection for Captain. He leads by example, both on and off the ice. He is a great example for our young players and will be a great asset to the organization this season”.
