Fiore, Slight each score a pair as Cataractes force game 7
The Shawinigan Cataractes were facing elimination for the first time in the 2015 Presidents Cup playoffs Sunday afternoon. A four-goal third period was the deciding factor as the Cataractes forced a seventh and deciding game with a 6-1 win.
Giovanni Fiore and Christophe Lalonde each scored within the first five minutes of the game and the Cataractes held on to lead 2-0 after the opening period of play.
The only goal in the second period came from the Mooseheads with Ryan Falkenham scoring a powerplay goal to cut the deficit to 2-1 heading into the third.
In the third period Gabriel Slight scored twice while Fiore and Labbe added singles to account for a 6-1 win and force game seven.
