CHL to NHL: Bulldogs alumnus Jiříček makes NHL debut with Blues
Former Brantford Bulldog Adam Jiříček made his NHL debut with the St. Louis last night as they visited the Dallas Stars.
In 16:35 of ice time in a 4-0 win in Dallas, Jiříček tallied two shots, one block, one hit and a +1 rating.
A native of Plzen, Czechia, Jiříček played with the Bulldogs for two seasons between 2024 and 2026. He had 23 goals and 48 assists in 82 regular season OHL games, as well as eight goals and 16 assists in 24 playoff games.
Jiříček has represented Czechia on the international stage on numerous occasions, including the 2023 Hlinka Gretzky Cup and three World Junior tournaments between 2024 and 2026. His international accolades include a silver medal at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, World Junior bronze medals in 2024 and 2025 and a World Junior silver medal in 2026, where he was also named the best defenceman in the tournament.
Jiříček was selected by the Blues in the first round, 16th overall, in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
