2014 IIHF WJC – Day 4 Results
The 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship includes 55 current CHL players and five graduates competing in Malmo, Sweden. Here is a recap of Sunday’s action:
Sweden 10 vs. Norway 0
The host Team Sweden improved to 3-0 at the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship with a big 10-0 win over Norway on Sunday.
Andre Burakovsky (Erie Otters) scored a hat-trick and was named the team’s Best Player.
Nick Sorensen (Quebec Remparts) scored a goal and two assists.
United States 8 vs. Germany 0
The United States kept their winning streak alive with their third straight victory in Group A action over Germany by an 8-0 score.
Philadelphia Flyers prospect Anthony Stolarz (London Knights) earned the shutout victory with 15 saves.
Adam Erne (Quebec Remparts) and former Plymouth Whalers defenceman Connor Carrick each picked up an assist.
