2018 NHL Draft Profile – Jared McIsaac

Jared McIsaac led all Halifax Mooseheads defencemen in scoring with nine goals and 47 points this season. The Nova Scotia product has represented Canada on the world stage three different times including tours of duty at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, World Under-18 Hockey Championship and the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament where he won gold last summer.

NHL Central Scouting says: Very good puck moving defenceman that sees the ice exceptionally well – strong skater with mobility that can move pucks up ice quickly – supports the rush and distributes the puck well on the power play – effective utilizing good feet and physical game to defend – good stick to puck technique and positioning in defensive zone.
