Filip Zadina of the Halifax Mooseheads is the third-ranked skater in North America as listed by NHL Central Scouting in their Final Rankings for the 2018 NHL Draft. The native of Srch, Czech Rep. scored 44 goals and 82 points in his first season in the QMJHL, being named to the league’s First All-Star Team and All-Rookie Team while receiving the Mike Bossy Trophy as Top Draft Eligible Prospect. He was named to the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship All-Star Team after recording eight points (7-1–8) in seven games while representing the Czech Republic.

Zadina describes himself as: Very Good Skater, Shooter, Good Hockey Sense, Positive, Team Player.

NHL Central Scouting says: High end skilled forward with excellent play making ability – very good vision, excellent anticipation and exceptional natural instincts to be able to be open on the play – strong puck skills; has a quick and accurate release shot and looks to shoot – exhibits good quickness and speed that makes a difference on plays – reliable and committed to playing a two way game – top five in QMJHL scoring most of the season and played for Czech Repulblic U-20 at 2018 World Junior championships.
