Subway Loukyville is the place to be for kids — and even for grown-ups — during the 2009 MasterCard Memorial Cup. The wide variety of activities in Loukyville will leave everyone delighted with their visit.

For 11-year-old Antoine, the skating rink in a tent was “Just too cool!” He was having fun with his friends and couldn’t get over the quality of the artificial skating surface. “It’s just a little bit smaller, but it really seems like real ice!”, he said excitedly.

A little further on, a father and son took up the precision shot challenge, urged on by a crowd of attentive spectators in the bleachers. A hockey goal with a target in each of the four corners gives participants a chance to test the accuracy of their wrist shots, to the enormous pleasure of the kids who beat their parents!

Younger kids can have a ball on the various inflatable games. The princess castle, the train and the tunnels are all extremely popular, as shown by the cries of “Once more!” heard from all around the inflatable structures.

The table games and the arcade game caravan are also very popular with young fans. Hockey is front and center, of course, even in virtual play! “It’s fun because we can try new games with our friends!”, said Amélie, while keeping her eyes glued to the screen in front of her.
Young and old alike are invited to come have fun at Subway Loukyville through May 24th!
