WHL RADIO SHOW, PLAYOFF EDITION – EPISODE #29

Calgary, AB – On this week’s playoff edition of the WHL Radio Show presented by Easton we recap the Kootenay Ice playoff upset over the Saskatoon Blades in the 2nd round.  The Blades, the top seed in the 2011 WHL Playoffs were eliminated in four straight games.  We will get the thoughts of Blades Head Coach/GM Lorne Molleken.  Red Deer Rebels forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has been ranked #1 by the NHL’s Central Scouting amongst North American skaters heading into this summer’s NHL Draft in Minnesota.  Nugent-Hopkins will discuss his climb to the top from the mid-term rankings.  Also, former NHL Head Coach Pat Quinn  talks about his involvement with the Vancouver Giants ownership group and his passion for the WHL.
