WHL & NESTLÉ CANADA ANNOUNCE DELISSIO RISE UP
Calgary, AB- Delissio, in partnership with the Western Hockey League will once again be offering minor hockey associations throughout Western Canada the opportunity to win $50,000! Last year’s contest saw both Lumby Minor Hockey and Pinawa Minor Hockey walk away with $50,000 for the hockey betterment of their associations.
“The Nestlé WHL Partnership is our way of connecting our Delissio Pizza brand with families and consumers in a meaningful way across Western Canada,” commented Robert Carducci, Assistant Marketing Manger- Pizza. “Delissio shares in Canadians’ passion for hockey and the Delissio Rise Up For Minor Hockey program is our way of supporting minor hockey at the local level.”
Pinawa is using money for the betterment of their indoor and outdoor rink, while Lumby is investing in new jerseys and equipment! In order to spread the wealth this season, Delissio has opted to conduct five monthly prizes of $5000 and one grand prize of $25,000 in hopes to help even more associations.
How it works:
From October 1, 2011 until February 29, 2012 simply purchase a Delissio product and cut out the UPC Code from the packaging. Then submit to the UPC Code along with a ballot form and mail the entry to:

Prizes to Win:
A. Monthly Prizes: The DELISSIO Monthly Prize will be awarded monthly from October to February (5 draws) to the one (1) eligible Minor Hockey Association who sends in the most eligible UPC codes from the first day to the last day of each month from October through February. The Minor Hockey Association that submits the most UPC codes each month will be awarded $5,000 for the hockey betterment of their program. A Minor Hockey Association is only eligible to win one monthly prize.
B. Grand Prize Contest: The Grand Prize of $25,000 will be awarded to the Minor Hockey Association that sends in the most UPC codes per capita throughout the entire five month promotion! A Minor Hockey Association can win a monthly prize, as well as the grand prize.

About the Western Hockey League:
The Western Hockey League started with just seven teams based in the provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta in 1966. The WHL now has representation in all four Western Canadian province and the U.S. states of Oregon and Washington. The WHL consists of 22 member Clubs with 17 based in Canadian markets and 5 in the U.S. Pacific Northwest.
The WHL is a member of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) whose membership is comprised of three major junior hockey leagues: Ontario Hockey League (OHL), Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) and the Western Hockey League (WHL).
