Calgary, AB – With the conclusion of the 2008-09 Western Hockey League Regular Season and the 2009 WHL Playoffs well underway, Subway Restaurants is pleased to announce the winners of the grand prize give away of Six (6) trips for two to the 2009 MasterCard Memorial Cup taking place in Rimouski, Quebec.
All season long, WHL Central Division fans had the opportunity to submit their answers to the weekly Central Division Challenge trivia by visiting www.whl-central.com.
Those who correctly answered the weekly trivia questions were automatically entered for their chance to win one of six (6) grand prize packages courtesy of Subway Restaurants along with weekly prizes of Subway gift cards.
The following winners will be representing the WHL – Central Division at the 2009 MasterCard Memorial Cup:

Each winner will receive two round trip tickets, accommodations and tickets to the Semi Final and Final Games of the 2009 MasterCard Memorial Cup in Rimouski, Quebec taking place May 15 – 24, 2009.
Congratulations also goes out to the Calgary Hitmen, who with a winning percentage of .891 versus other WHL – Central Division teams, captured the WHL – Central Division Challenge Cup. The Hitmen, who also finished 1st overall in the WHL Regular Season standings with 122 points, won 28 of 32 head-to-head Central Division games. Runner-up in the WHL – Central Division Challenge race was the Kootenay Ice, who won 18 of 34 Central Division games for a winning percentage of .574.
