ROYALS AND HARBOUR AIR UNVEIL SEAPLANE!

Victoria, BC – The Victoria Royals and Harbour Air Seaplanes are excited to announce the Royals’ logo and colors will be flying high not just on the ice, but in the air as well. A freshly painted and logoed DeHavilland DHC-3 Turbine Single Otter plane in the Harbour Air Seaplane fleet will be commuting on a daily basis between Victoria and Vancouver. 

The Royals’ plane was formally introduced today at the Victoria seaplane terminal on Wharf Street. The plane’s look features the Royals’ logo on the tail of the Harbour Air Seaplane on a Royals’ blue background.

“Harbour Air has been an integral part of this community for 30 years and we are proud to have this relationship with them,” RG Sports and Entertainment president Dave Dakers said. “The introduction of this aircraft is a tremendous way to showcase our partnership in an exciting and unique manner.”

Harbour Air is pleased to offer Royals fans a special discount to upcoming Victoria Royals’ games for travel to and from Vancouver during their 2011/12 regular season. The first opportunity for Royals’ fans to fly on the Royals’ Harbour Air seaplane is this Friday when the Royals open the 2011-12 regular season against the Vancouver Giants at Pacific Coliseum. Puck drop is 7:30pm.
