Rebels’ Woywitka Among First Cuts at Team Canada Camp

Five players including Red Deer Rebels defenceman Jeff Woywitka recieved the early morning wake-up call telling them they would not be making the trip to the Czech Republic later this month.

Two forwards – Baie-Comeau’s Yanick Lehoux and Jason Pominville of Shawinigan – along with three defencemen – Cole Jarrett of Plymouth, Aaron Johnson of Rimouski and Jeff Woywitka of Red Deer were all released from Canada’s National Junior Team Selection Camp.
